Clinical Psychologist
Throughout his 30-plus years as a Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Paul Becker has dedicated himself to finding practical solutions to human problems. Working with adults, adolescents, couples, and families, he utilizes a cognitive-behavioral, solution-oriented approach. Dr. Becker strives to help clients identify and achieve their goals whether working in his private practice or consulting in the community. His clinical practice is focused on working with clients in their resolution of obsessions, phobias, and depression, as well as helping survivors of abuse.
Dr. Becker is a Life Trustee of Bellflower Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse, a past Vice-President of the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center Board of Trustees, and has consulted with community agencies, developed community-wide service networks, and served as an associate director of a mental health center. He is a member of the anxiety Disorders Association of America and the International Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Foundation. He enjoys photography, gardening, and keeping up with his grandchildren.
In addition to providing outpatient therapy and clinical supervision at Horizons, Dr. Becker also maintains a private practice at Becker Udelf & Associates in Woodmere and provides outpatient therapy at Keogh Bendo & Associates in Tallmadge. Dr. Becker continues to offer consultation services to organizations as part of his professional work.
Dr. Becker supervises the work of Psychology Assistant, Christine Comstock, Ph.D, and assigns cases to her.
